Bracket is probably a small part in CCTV but it is equally important as the camera or recorder. Without properly mounted camera, any security solution is going to be incompleted and undesirably we heard of complaints again and again failure to record an useful footage of incidence.

Now bracket design has been more than tranditional and dull wall mount bracket. Manufacturers accumulate enough experience shared from installers, more options are now available in market for different installation environment.

There is not always a well-formed and perfect wall for mounting your camera. Beginners will try to find this perfect installation position, but it is actually in most of the cases impossible. Then they resort to see and think how they could fix the camera based on what they are available on hand. We call this workaround but is that really satisfactory? Really serious professionals know the answer exactly is NOT. For example, we will see some dome installed rotated 90 degree vertical on wall, do you think the lens can capture the best image? Of course impossible. Dome is designed to be installed on ceiling. 

Some installers are really capable and used to customize anything themselves. However, if an off-the-shelf solution has been out there, why not take it to lower your cost and project difficulty.
